Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute

On one extreme end of the Grand canal sits the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. This view is taken from the top of the Campanile of San Marco, more than 300 feet above the Piazza de San Marco. Also visible is the Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore on the island of Giudecca. In the far distance is the Isola delle Rose which is a private island dedicated to the JW Marriottt Venice Resort and Spa Hotel
